would prefer to make their own insurance arrangements, there are many reputable agencies that provide this complete insurance at a very
reasonable cost, and are often much less
than you would pay for travel and medical insurance, bought as part of a typical package holiday, from the high streets.
Don't forget to
disclose, any expensive personal possessions
that you may take with you (e.g. camera equipment). You
should also disclose any significant past medical history, before you leave the country,
as we are all too aware of horror stories concerning
travellers who didn't.
